The Poor People's Campaign, or Poor People's March on Washington, was a 1968 effort to gain economic justice for poor people in the United States. It was organized by Martin Luther King Jr. and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) and carried out under Ralph Abernathy's leadership in the wake of King's assassination in April 1968.
Bishop William J. Barber II and others continue leading this important national moral revival.

At these events, you'll be at our booth, working alongside another volunteer. Your task: distribute giveaways, share candidate materials, and answer queries. Plus, candidates or their representatives will be present to add their perspective to the conversations. Dates will be added to the calendar as they are announced. The Spokane Pride Event and Parade is a vibrant celebration that brings together the LGBTQ+ community and allies in a spirit of inclusivity and diversity.
